Can someone explain why the Sydney University exclaimer exists?

Genuinely curious.

A University that takes peoples pictures of them having a w*nk for research purposes just seams obscure to the point of being paradoxical for me.

Did one of the students their decide to submit a paper on orgies or......?

If so his tutor must have been a bit shocked.

"Bruce, mate..what the hell is this? This is just pictures of genitals mate!"

Do you think the university have a running joke about the disclaimers on here and take the piss out of it and all the swingers that use it?

Bang on!!! Too simple for some I fear

Check terms and conditions. Only way to opt out is to usually delete your profile

As with all the silly disclaimers people insert on their profile it’s completely pointless

It’s absolute rubbish, google it.

Block search engine results in the privacy settings instead. Probably more likely to get scanned using this disclaimer

Dear O.P. The Sidney University disclaimer is a highly respected and necessary truth. Do not disrespect it.

Anyone who questions the S.U.D would do well to check out it's origins. To do this follow the instructions below.

1. Follow the Yellow Brick Road

2. Arrive at Sydney's

3. Stroke his unicorn gently

4. Climb his Golden Staircase to the land of diamonds.

5. Open the drawer marked Total B.S.

6. Open the drawer and take a deep whiff.

Know the truth of the Sidney University Disclaimer.

put more simply anyone using it is a twat incapable of thought and reason .....

"Was started years go back in like 2010-2011 when someone write a paper on swingers and seems to have Carred on from there "

It's also supposedly been linked to another similar site around the same time.

I joined FAB 11+ years ago and the S U message was around then. It is utterly pointless placing it in Profiles.

Even the Moderators at times state it is of no use at all and takes up unnecessary space on their system.

One thought; if someone thought Sydney University had breached their privacy rights, would they (the FAB User) actually take them to court but almost certainly attract a lot of Public attention at the same time, via Media who love this sort of story?

All I remember is joining in late 2010 and by the start off 2011 I started seeing it crop up on more and more profiles so messages a couple with it and was told that it’s a new thing and was told what was above

And emmm yes i would take them to court if you have it set up right and can provide lost revenue for it ur right I would
