I misread that as Minxie Minx at first! Thought you were being a little harsh there

"i dont believe it !! .. ur telling me in 53 years corrie aint had a single alien abduction ???"

Don't be silly, it's a gritty drama!

I liked the gritty bits where Les Battersby sneaked through the loft and left a twat book under the cushion in Emily Bishops and when Jack Duckworth was discovered on a dating site video, offering his services as Vince St. Clair.

You don't get realism like that in crap like the Sopranos a tell thi!

wirral

I'd hate to live in Holby, the locals are always so ill, and the hospital keeps on getting destroyed.

Mind you Sunhill isn't much better, the crime rate is even worse than Manchester's and London's put together...

Coronation Street - I remember watching it when it first came out about 50 years ago, but I've not seen it since...

There was this character called Ken Barlow, and a lot of folk going on about how hard it is up north... Guess it must have changed a lot since then though....

little house on the praire

Reckon emmerdale could give coronation street a run for its money. Plane crash, struck by lightening, murders. Plus youve had it if your straight more lesbian and gays per population than anywhere else in the country

Failing that hunstanton must be the worst place to live

"wherever that wee minx Miss Marple goes for her holidays... if i knew she was coming, I would run like fuck."

Might be safe enough where she lives but everytime she travels coach, train, plane, hotel etc someone gets murdered you would think the police would have cottoned on by now.

Hull

"didnt virtually all of them die in Royston Vasey, and even if you lived you wouldnt wanna live there unless youre a local people"

In reality, for Royston Vasey, read Hadfield, just north of Glossop; it was filmed there, where my brother lived too; he succeeded in getting a role as an extra, being caught on camera walking through one of the scenes being recorded.

I quite like Hadfield, not like Hull, where I was until late last year for quite a number of years.

The old town in Hull is fucking mint, some cracking old pubs in that part plus loads of free museums
