do other people find pictures with distorted faces quite creepy and scary

I know they do it to protect identities of other people but why do they distort their own faces ?

I don't mind pixelated or the black bar, but the swirly ones are a bit creepy yeah!

We distort our faces in any photos in our public gallery. Often get told we look better distorted

Guess the alternative (which no saw on someone's profile recently - but who shall remain nameless!) is to simply chuck a bag on your head!

Low cost, no computer skills required - and we'd all then be able to see where you shop!
