When did you last have a bona fide crush? I seem to be suffering from a teenage level one that's driving me a bit insane! I don't mean just someone on here you wouldn't mind hooking up with, but a real world, writing their name in your jotter type one about someone who has no idea! I feel so ridiculous

Can’t even tell her at all as the situation is very complicated

Plus she sends so meny mixed signals that I truly don’t know whare I stand blows hot and cold more than a Scottish summers day

Yes, luckily I asked a friend of hers if she’d said anything about me as we got on very well at a Xmas party and said no, just how she is and left it as just me being too over analysing

As long as you're not going beetroot red OP, enjoy it. It's nice indulging in that feeling sometimes. I get them from time to time and normally try and ignore them as much as possible because I lose the ability to converse like a normal human being.

Also I have the song stuck in my head now so thank you for that.

I probably would say something if I was more of a relationship person. But I know I don't really want to date him, I just desperately want to sleep with him. Knowing me though, I think it'd be out of my system right away then. I wouldn't mess anyone around like that, unless I knew they had a similar mindset, which I don't think he does. In an ideal world, I'd find him on here and could just be up front that I really need him in my bed once, so long as he just forgets about it after and doesn't tell any work people!

I do go red, and stuttery, around him which I bloody hate. I think getting him naked is the only cure but it's not gonna happen

I had a proper teenage level crush about two years ago, with a girl from work. She was so much younger than me, she was about 20, and I rarely have any interest in ladies younger than me, especially that much younger.

We chatted at Xmas party and in office. Did feel like a connection, she was admin girl and me head of department I was wary of rumours starting so made myself keep distance.

She started seeing a lad and got pregnant, I was over come with jealousy lol. Crazy!

I think the last time was about 20-22 years ago (taking a guess there, based on age). There was a girl who used to regularly go to some of the pubs and bars I frequented at the time. Snogged her a couple of times but could never get it further than that.

Crush in terms of it being one sided, is never revealed openly, completely consumes you and you can't stop thinking about the person, and go out of your way to have contact with them etc?

Probably 25 years ago with two different ladies from the office, one left the company and the other I came to realise it wasn't reciprocated but we became very close friends and still have occasional contact now via FB.
