Did have Hunters, really don't rate them. Dunlop blizzards for me now! Super comfortable and less than half the price. My Hunters split and their welly socks have the seam right on the heel

However... all my wellies are for dog walks, not shagging.

Same here, Dunlop blizzards all the way. The last pair of hunters I had only lasted about 5 minutes.

Mr by virtue of his work spends most of his time in wellies and has a pair for every occasion. If it’s farmers day on the local shoot his le chameau’s are allowed out, walking the dogs he rates muck boots, general working its Dunlop safety wellies.

Look into Le Chameau, it’s the only brand farmers, rural workers etc use. Will last forever and look great at same time

I agree, I’ve got Aigle wellies and they’ve lasted for years, and they are comfy too.

Cheap and cheerful normally last about 1 dog walk.

I looked into Aigle and Chameau, but just couldn't being myself to spend that much on wellies. Granted, if you spend all day in them.

Dunlop blizzards were £35 delivered, and my feet that are ALWAYS cold in wellies are yet to be frozen! Also, they have a nice squishy top

I’ve had a pair of Aigle wellies for about the same length of time and they’re still perfect. They get used a lot for long dog walks, and sometimes even without the beast.

Mind you, the ‘emergency’ winter wellies in the car are a pair of Hunters I bought in 1995 and they’re still going strong. Standards must have slipped somewhere along the way.

I’m sure everyone will be pleased to know there are no glam photos of me in either pair.

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

I do quite a bit of work on a friend's farm and trying to look trendy I bought some Hunters. They didn't last long, so I bought some cheap Dunlop Acifort wellies three years ago and they're still going strong.

Between Chichester and Havant

Have used Hunter but expensive when you put a hole in them after a couple of weeks.

Wore Argyll's for many years but would always split along a seam near the toes.

Now wear woodland. Warm comfy and last. I am in them every day this time of year though.
