For the last couple of years it has been a guy called Mark Tufo.

He has made a series of books based around one character called Mike Talbot along with his family and they have encountered Zombies, aliens along with vampires, lycans and even wrote a series of books by his dog!

Peter James. Wrote a lot of supernatural stories before moving onto the Roy Grace detective. Both subjects interest me.

Karen Maitland for historical fiction with a touch of the supernatural.

Mo Hayder for spine chilling thrillers.

Kate Atkinson for her fantastic writing.

Beth Lewis best new(ish) author I've discovered recently.
