Confession of addictions?

Hi my name is Shaun and I'm a wind-upaholic.

It all started when I was in my teens and I used to enjoy the occasional bit of leg pulling, I thought I could handle it but by the time I reached my mid twenties I was making 16 pranks calls a night, often followed with hidden camera chasers

Someone who I'd presumed was a friend had introduced me to this lifestyle and let me use his phone for free at first. However once I was hooked this was no longer the case and I quickly went on an increasingly downward spiral, losing my job, family and home in the process.

I'm now reduced to trying to feed my habit by poking 10p pieces out of telephone boxes with a lolly stick and turning tricks round the back of the allotments

Also the amount of wind up havens that I frequent are rapidly drying up as I am often refused entry, as I am an embarrassment to the other clients.

I'm not looking for pity here, I just want to warn any youngsters of the perils of this demon of an addiction and hopefully get them to change their ways before it is too late

I wouldn't mind if I was actually any good at it but I will never, ever achieve the wind-up utopia of being as hilariously funny in this field, like my wind up hero Rio Ferdinand, who's fabulous prank TV show is the stuff of legend

i am, unfortunately, addicted to oxygen. i have suffered with this addiction since a very young child and on very stressful days have been known to inhale ten to twenty times in as many minutes. the biggest problem with my addiction, or my black dog as i like to refer to it is the realisation that i do need, occasionaly, to breathe out. i find if i do not do this i become over-inflated and have been known to float a few inches off the ground until i get talked down by a group of oap's ( Oxygen Addicted People's Selfhelpers ). i think sharing a problem does indeed make it easier, and since joining the exalted ranks of the oap's i have found i am not the only person with this secret addiction, and the knowledge i can integrate into society almost seamlessly with no-one picking up on my secret has been a source of great comfort in these troubled times. if anyone else out there suffers from the same terrible and debilitating habit do not worry, do not fret, you are not the only one.

I am ashamed to admit I am addicted to correcting spelling errors. My therapist makes me read the forums for at least four hours a day and keep a little book of the errors I have seen but not corrected. Any correcting will result in me losing my 3 month pin. Hangs head in shame.
