I often didn’t with a previous partner we would go on a break away in January instead. Each to there own- lots who have children often choose to indulge the children instead

I wouldn't say it was weird.

I'd much rather someone gave me a random unexpected present through the year, than felt obliged to buy me something at Christmas just because thats when everyone else does it.

We haven't bought each other anything as there is nothing we want or need. We don't believe in buying stuff for the sake of it. We are very lucky we have each other and are together when so many people are worse off. Mrs H x

We don't buy each other Xmas pressies. There's nothing we need and if there is, we just buy it when the need arises. We do get gifts for each other for bdays just not bothered about Xmas.

If I was in a relationship then I would always buy a gift, even if it's a token gift, thoughtful is the key not monetary value
