What weird comfort foods do you eat?

My best mate was teasing me the other night because I was eating a plate of honey roasted parsnips with paprika and mayonnaise.

I’m also known for tomato sauce on buttered toast.

"What weird comfort foods do you eat?

My best mate was teasing me the other night because I was eating a plate of honey roasted parsnips with paprika and mayonnaise.

I’m also known for tomato sauce on buttered toast.

"

Both are awesome, nom, nom, nom

Sage and onion stuffing, I’ll literally just make it from the packet, bung it in the oven and eat the whole thing with gravy. "

I’m with you on that one, absolutely love the stuff! Miss PC x

You're on the Santa's naughty list now "

I call it red sauce. Is that better or worse?

"From the chippy

Fish chips and gravy

I know this will disgust around 75% (mainly southerners) of the forum

Is this not standard?...

I raised the question of gravy on chips the other week and can safely say that on FAB, the majority believe gravy should only be on a Sunday dinner"

Absolute best thing about moving to the Midlands was the widespread condoning of chips and gravy.

I quite like chips with gravy and curry sauce

I've just watched Fanny Craddock whip up a mince meat omelette

I am talking mince pie mince meat as opposed to a spag bol type mince meat

Either way, Vile!

I love raw potato with a wee bit of salt. The only reason I cook with real potatoes, instead of cheating with pre-made, is so I can surreptitiously crunch half of them before they make it to the pot/oven.
