Depends on the type of metal. I love Opeth, Alice in Chains (I class them as metal rather than grunge), Metallica, Megadeath, Mastodon, Meshuggah... having a bit of an ‘M’ theme now.

Reminded me when Infiltrate, Destroy, Rebuild came out was just after he (son) was born! Mr KC went to see CKY in Manchester but I wasn't invited

Bloodstock regulars here so we missed out this year on Judas Priest headlining (probably our favorite)

The mention of Evil Scarecrow did bring a smile. What other band can get an arena of hung over metal heads to do silly dances? (Crabulon and more lol)

Korpiklaani also at the top of our list

Been listening to a lot of "Within The Ruins" as of late!

I couldn't possibly choose just one for an all time fave although Fear Factory, A7X and At The Gates are definitely in the running for said title!

I didn’t think much of them until I saw them live supporting Foo Fighters... then I suddenly understood

When I was a teenager it was hard rock so the likes of Motörhead or AC/DC, even Metallica who were just coming to the fore.

So maybe Slipknot are the only ones I’ve listened to and enjoyed, recently.

But give me Motörhead as a regular listen
