Who remembers having to buy a porn mag, escort or razzle, or having to watch Eurotrash to get their kicks.

I remember the Littlewoods catalogue underwear section.

Some people don’t realise how hard it was (no pun intended) to find wanking material

I would imagine washing line thefts have decreased since online shopping.

Channel 5 softcore movies provided a fair bit of wankspiration for me. Oh, and the Red Show Diaries.

o o OO o o

Topless darts at the ballet on Bravo

You could always find a porn mag hanging around the bushes at the local park.

Or you’d be walking down the road all casual like, glance down at the gutter and see a boob centrefold just lying there (from a magazine - not an actual centrefold). I mean where did it come from? Where was the rest of the magazine?

In some ways yes:

Allowed people to explore things they may never have considered, also to get tips and be able to ask questions in the right forums to people who don’t judge.

In some ways no

Unrealistic porn with blokes with 6 packs and huge cocks that can fuck for hours.

Woman with deemed perfect bodies and will do anything and everything

Atleast it wasn't just me with the catalogues haha.

Our German teacher in year 10 showed us in his words "the german version of The Simpson's". Saw it on Eurotrash a week later

Used to have a newsagents that would sell you a porn mag if you weren't the right age.

I also remember Channel 4s 'Red Triangle' films.

As with many I was already out & working before Channel 4 hit the screens let alone the internet. It certainly has turned things around, in many ways, look at swinging now!!! In the early days it use to be an 'in the know', or 'invite' activity!

There and to the left a bit

Forget the red triangle on C4, and Topless Darts etc - it was late night French and German films on BBC2 in my day - sitting through an hour and a half of mostly rubbish for a quick 30 seconds of nakedness was where it was at back then!!

Mind you I did get my French O and AO Level so it can't have been a complete waste of time!!

Lets try this again.. I remember growing up in New York and watching Benny Hill for the laughter and the sexy girls. Shortly after I discovered how openminded Europe was to nudity and sex when I moved across the pond... then came the internet... then came webcam site, which led me to Fabswingers.... It has been a great and eyeopening experience and long may it continue..

Before the internet it was contact magazines and invite only events. I remember posting loads of letters, photos and info in self addressed envelopes to couples. Then waiting up to a week or more for a reply.

The internet saves on stamps

The days of the contact mags and waiting for replys. Always Escort and Razzle mags and found myself getting turned on by the pics that started me thinking about sex with another woman. The hubby also took pics of me and we sent them to Escort and Razzle readers wives

I miss those old porn mags. As for the Littlewoods underwear section, oooohhh, so many lovely things in there. Remember when the only real models were "mature" ladies in corsets - possibly explains some of my links.

I do have a nostalgic yearning to return to those days. Seeing naked ladies is just too easy now! It’s probably made us all ramp up a gear in terms of our sexual fantasies - pushing boundaries and always chasing the next big thrill.

Camera magazines were a good source of naked women too. My dad was a camera enthusiast as I was growing up and it was pretty common for them to have articles which showed topless or naked models. Happy days.

Southampton

I remember trips abroad in the eighties. In the UK even magazines sold in sex shops were very tame. In Europe hard core was readily available in normal shops.

I remember my trips to Stuttgart to collect my new car every couple of years. You stayed in the Ramada and the porn on the Television was unbelievable. There was a number of porn channels available freely and without restriction. All tastes were catered for including genre that is no longer available even on hardcore internet sites.
