Is your keyboard missing certain keys, I think you might be needing a new one?

hi have you tried running a reg scan and system scan as sounds like your windows system as become unstable your other option is to do a system roll back which should solve the problem if you want help with this email us direct and i can give you a link to some good reg ans system repair software

be careful with some of the advice you get in here

Run a scan, run defragmentation, clear internet cookies. if that doesn't work, change your ADSL filter.

ADSL filter will have no affect whatsoever on your computer "crashing"

when it "crashes" what happens exactly? Do you get a blue screen with lots of white text on it? Does it simply switch off and the screen goes blank? Have you installed any software/windows updates recently? Any new hardware?

Also, what OS are you running? Windows 7, windows xp etc. Specs of the pc, manufacturer etc. It's all in the details.

What operating system are you using (XP/Vista/Windows7)?

How old is the machine?

What are you doing just before it crashed (one particular program/random program)?

What are the exact messages you see?

You need to be a little more specific for us to try and work out what might be happening.

Like Slarty has said above, what exactly happens when it crashes? Could be a number of things causing it - and what do YOU mean by 'crashing'??

Dont know if its any help but I had something similar happen,

In the end I worked out it was the Windows update that was doing it! Had to roll back the PC a few times and let it run the update a few times before it bacame stable again.

As for browsing, I had to remove the Rapport software (supposed to make browsing safer) as it made the system sooooo slow.

Good luck with this and with any luck its a quick fix

I never let the machine auto-update - I always apply Windows updates when *I* want.
