What films did you used to love as a child only to be disappointed when you watched them again as an adult?

Worcester

Labyrinth, I loved it as a kid but when I tried to watch it with our eldest I realised it is pretty messed up.

Recently watched The Lost Boys again... it’s aged badly

Mind was the original IT, that has not aged well either.

There and to the left a bit

Highlander - loved it back in the day and watched it countless times - watched it again about a year ago, and although the premise was still good the special effects and mostly hammy acting just didn't cut it for me any more - just felt very dated.

Would probably benefit from a re-boot perhaps with Christopher Lambert in the Sean Connery role
