Baked either in store or at home.

It largely depends upon the dunking ratio of the biscuit in question! Some disintegrate too quickly so do not qualify. Ginger nuts therefore pretty high up in my ratings......

I agree to this argument, Ginger Nuts are the most stable of the biscuits, hard and British like. Should be on our flag

They obviously have great taste...

My reasoning.. Chocolate coating added to the crunchy sweetness of the honey oats, and yet perfectly sized for dunking

Look out in the supermarket for Border dark chocolate gingers

You can sometimes find them on offer for a quid, but you only get about 8 in a pack

Their lemon drizzle biscuits are good too as are the butterscotch shortbreads

Bourbons are best for dunking in proper coffee

But the biscuits I enjoy best for not dunking are good shortbread, chunky and made with butter mmmmmm. Lidl deluxe are my favourites.

Stem ginger cookies, sweet with chewy stem ginger. Hmm Then you have Jammy dodgers... Dunk and eat them whole, the biscuit followed by the sweet jam hit. Coming in 3rd place is a Aldi newcomer choc chip cookies ( blue packet) big chunks of milk chocolate out standing at 69p per pack.

A jammy dodger is a great d*unker... Soft biscuit and gooey jam after a good soaking. Chocolate hobnob for the beginner dunker. Fruit shorty for the expert dunker. But have to remember tea temperature is key also.
