Boxing Day shopping

Who actually goes shopping on Boxing Day and why do people find it necessary to buy fast food from say KFC or Greggs or any food outlets. Can’t we just not bother and let those people who have jobs there have the day off

I'd imagine that other people working on Boxing Day may need to get food from somewhere that day

I used to work Boxing Day as I’m a truck driver and I would take food in from home

I don't think I've ever been shopping on boxing day.

I have friends though that get up really early to be 1st in the queue for the sales.

Good for them but personally I can't think I'm nothing worse.

I’ve bern shopping on 27th only because I wanted something in the sale!

Boxing Day, needs to be spent watching tv and eating leftovers

I used to go clubbing Boxing Day... not sure I’d be up for that now...

I totally agree Boxing Day Is a national holiday, Out of all the bank holidays most people have no choice but to work them but Boxing Day should be different everyone should be off
