I just caught the tail end of a conversation on the radio earlier. Did I hear right that Glastonbury 2021 has been cancelled already?

Think you may have heard comment made by Paul McCartney in an interview, he said he does not expect the festival to go ahead in 2021.

The organisers are saying they'll do everything they can to make it happen, so I guess they better help find the cure then!!!

No, it wasn't McCartney. It was a company who were booked to do some work or other for the festival saying they now need to look for another booking to cover the cost of what they were losing, I think anyway.

Ah right. There's going to be loads out of pocket & going under because of all this. The gig scene will take a long time to recover. As a muso I already know of a few just packing it all in!

organisation and logistics of planning take a good 9-12 months, cant really see anything happening maybe lucky at the tail end of the summer.

Tbh, I believe Crufts is going ahead. That is a transmission nightmare as it's packed out on the last 2 days.
