The writer and directors knowledge of swinging must be limited to reading the small paragraph about it in a Collins dictionary.

I'm about the age where Adam Sandler humour hit me the right way when he was first big. But now, yeah, no

Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison were pretty good and funny.

Big Daddy had a lot of heart to it.

Water Boy was pushing it but again it had a lot of heart behind it.

Little Nicky... Things started to fall off the rails.

Everything after that, comedy wise, has been bad.

The only Adam Sandler film I've liked was Wedding Singer - any of the others of his I've seen have been cringeworthy

I quite liked The Longest Yard. Even if it is hard to believe Adam Sandler could ever be a high level athlete

Oh yes, forgot about that. That's the hung with the Adam Sandler movies, the ones that have a bit of a heart to them. That are more than just him, his friends, and his shit jokes with his predictable level of comedy do have a nice bit of watch value to them.

Saying that, it is a comedic remake of an original (also the UK version called Mean machine).
