..an elaborate wrapper?

Do you go all out labels, bows and frills? Or are you a cheapest paper possible and then wrap the sellotape around until the item is fully encased and hidden?

Unless it's a box, I'm useless. Still the type to turn a tube of sweeties into a wrapping paper cracker

Just wrap an empty box for the kids.. they get more enjoyment from ripping the paper and the expression on their face when they realise they have nothing is priceless

I love wrapping, take so much pride in it even though I know it is just going to be torn apart and binned.

Think a well wrapped and presented gift shows a level of care put into things.

There is that! My sister wraps things beautifully. I think my issue is, regardless, my wrapping looks like it could explode... so my effort is wasted

I used to be a fantastic gift wrapper. But I got sick and the wrapping got difficult so now I don't do it. D does the wrapping now.

I am sure all gifts are super appreciated regardless of the wrapping.

In a honesty, my gift wrapping is more for me than anyone else, can't even try and kid myself and think that recipents give two hoots about perfect corners or well placed bows haha.

I wrap my gifts and pretty paper with matching bows/ribbon and then I enclose them in cellophane and tie with curling ribbon! They really look lovely

I live wrapping, I find it really relaxing, and I'm good at it too

Have been happy to see the amount of wrapping paper on sale this year that is recyclable.

Absolutely! I think some paper tape might be the way forward next year. I've seen people wrapping in fabric! Or turning the Primark christmas bags into wrapping.

Gifts for friends are wrapped with bows and ribbons so they are beautiful. But my kids, I like to be a bit mean. My sons are all individually wrapped. Then in boxes, that are wrapped, then inside a massive box, that's wrapped. It's revenge for last year when he open a present he was giving me, wrapped everything individually and put it all back in and wrapped the outside too

Hate wrapping with a vengeance and also take the view that it'll be ripped off in seconds flat with no thought given to the quality of the wrapping anyway so whilst I don't quite bodge it, I don't put a great deal of effort in either

Not too bad at wrapping, fairly neat but can't be bothered with the ribbon etc. We're trying to be a bit more eco conscious this year and all ours have been wrapped in brown paper instead as the council say that normal wrapping paper can't be recycled.
