Really not very well at all! Went down hill with an injury in the summer. Finding motivation with gyms closed has been difficult and other stuff going on...but I’m back in it now so here’s to 2021

I will try lol but 25kg drop set sit-ups are proving quite difficult

50 sit ups with 25kg

Drop 5kg off only brake is lifting 5kg off back in to it

Nother set off 50 and drop 5kg off

And so on

Works out to 6 sets off 50 300 sits ups in total dropping from 25kg

Not as good as I wanted, not as bad as I had feared.

Long hours working from home have an impact, I miss my daily walk to work and the sessions in the gym every other day. I have tried to have mini workouts after each phone call, like sit-ups or weight lifts, that kept the pandemic pounds under control but I could do more.

I still gained a couple of pounds but thanks to exercise and a a healthy diet it is limited.

I will use the Christmas break to exercise more and also have some long walks outside. If I am not too lazy again ...

Yeah - but I’m just a little fed up that I’m out walking at least 1.5 hrs per day but the excess weight hasn’t come off! Clearly I’ll have to drastically reduce my calorie intake too - which won’t be easy as I already eat fairly healthily! X

My fitness routine hit a few bumps during 2020 with coughs and colds lasting what felt like forever at the start of the year, then an achilles injury for a few months and now an injured knee from a fall on a mountain hike.

Even against these setbacks I still managed over 850 miles of running this year, nowhere near my original target of 1250. I also had 3 races postponed until 2021.

Nevermind, I will be back running very soon and will start marathon training.

I would say pre second lockdown I was at a 7.5 out of 10, I'd lost 2.5 stone since end of May/beginning of June. Got my strength back up by going on the exercise bike and was back doing 2 dance classes a week with a view to getting back to aerial hoop. Now dance studios are shut so has my motivation, I am still going on the bike and eating healthy most of the time but motivation is not the same
