Sex with music

or without? As much as I like music I am not keen on it while having sex and there is always the chance that something inappropriate might come on 'Should I stay or should I go'. Having said that if at the moment if a woman or a couple said we like to play the Birdie Song I think I would be up for it

Just wondering what your preferences are?

I used to do all the cliches when I was younger, one of which involved a 'seduction tape' for whenever a woman (either vanilla or kinky) came to my flat: songs ABOUT sex or lovemaking tended to feature regularly. Either that, or I would ask the woman in question what music she would like to hear (mainly so she didn't take the piss out of what I liked) and put that on.

However, I soon realised after a while that the music was putting both of us off- I think the turning point was me trying to orgasm whilst playing the "apocalyptic doom folk" music of Current 93 (a favourite of my then-girlfriend, who was an industrial goth) and hearing the singer scream "TAKE ME TO MY DEAD CHRIST!! TAKE ME TO MY DEAD CHRIST!!" as I came in her. It was most disconcerting, I can tell you. After that, silence became far more appealing- although I can see why so many swingers clubs favour the deep throbbing beats of techno and deep house. It does kind of suit the mood perfectly, and if you know the history of the club scene, it's very much part of it anyway.

Personally no music but not really fussed either way. If it's good I don't notice anything going on in the background anyway.

A little bit of jazz always works well with low lighting,...we all love jazz hands

I don't hear it, I'm too caught up in what I'm doing, so I don't care.

I like it with and without music.....however I always find when the chemistry is right stopping to put music on never happens. I’m in the moment

Somewhere In The Ether…

I’m not averse to sex with music in the background but I do prefer the natural sounds emitted through lovemaking.

Certainly, Slayer’s, Seasons In The Abyss at full volume during the intimate act, would likely disturb my concentration and render me moshing unconsciously

If they are chatty then there is no need for music. If they are quiet then I like background music.

I’m not a chatty lass so it eases any awkward silences, plus sometimes if it’s too quiet I start talking to myself in my head and I can get a bit distracted
