Sorry this "no label" thing annoys the crap out of me. It's not insulting for people to describe themselves as they are, it's honesty. If a guy likes men and women and engages in sexual activity with them he's bi. To call that labelling is just nonsense. People on Fab expect honesty and some women will only sleep.with straight men as that's their preference. If said "straight" guy is also sleeping with guys then that's misleading.

OP, if you enjoy men and women then you've got the best of both worlds and you're bi. Enjoy!

Its not about those people who are happy to label themselves, its about people feeling pressured into labelling themselves to satisfy others/society.

Where does heteexible fit in with straight, gay or bi? Is it before bi? What about bi curious?

Labels help when there is a standard measurement, and can help with a rough filter when looking for playmates, but people shouldn’t feel that any label defines them.

It's not about defining them as a person it's about statng your sexual preferences. OP's bio states he's bisexual which he clearly is and it tells potential meets exactly what his sexual preferences are. "Labels" aren't a way of suppressing people as loads on here think, they're a way of giving an accurate reflection of the person you are.

Yes I understand that some people may not want to pigeonhole themselves as they don't want to admit to the big wide world that they are gay, bi or whatever but what about those who want to have the choice of who they do and don't have sex with?

There are plenty of women and couples who don't want to have sex with a gay or bisexual man so where do they stand if a man who has sex with other men refuses to say he is gay/bi?

So he claims he is straight, has sex with these women/couples who only want genuinely straight men and then justifies his lie to them by saying he is straight because he doesn't like the label yet earlier that day had 20 penis's up his bum in a gay sauna?

Im not gay or bi bashing either as I quite like a dick up my own ass.....I just see that things need labels or where the hell does it all end?

The problem is on a site like this there are only so many categories to put yourself in. If the OP likes both men and women then stick to the bisexual option, this shows you will meet both sexes and couples, some ladies won’t meet bi guys and that is their preference. Anything more you can add to your profile blurb so get more of a feeling for who you are

Think of sexuality as a spectrum where 100% straight (only find opposite sex attractive and only want sex with opposite sex) and 100% gay (only find same sex attractive and only want sex with same sex) are the extremes. Bisexual can go in the middle (find both sexes equally attractive and want sex with both sexes).

I am attracted to women but not men. I have, and will again, had sexual encounters with men.

For the purposes of this site I would use either bisexual (find both sexes equally attractive) or bicurious (indulge occasionally in same sex sexual encounters or never had same sex encounter but be interested) labels. If you are solely attracted to same sex and only wish to have sex with same sex then the gay label might be more appropriate.

You can then elaborate more in the written bio.
