It’s ok to have a bad day.

Take some time for yourself and don’t fixate on how you’re feeling.

Happens to the best of us sometimes for no apparent reason.

I find music a great help.

When I’m feeling really shitty my go to tunes are 80s disco.

Hope you feel better tomorrow pal.

There is an alarming amount of similar threads at the mo OP, you're far from being on your own in this

It's not a reflection of you, but rather of the situation we are in, the length of time we've been in it, the time of year and this bloody weather

it's probably depression mate

Don't worry if things get too bad remember and cut down the way and not across.

Only joking

Seriously though if it starts happening more and more go to your Doctor

It's such a tricky time so just remember that it's absolutely OK to not be OK and there doesn't necessarily have to be a reason.

Look after yourself and reach out as you have done, It's OK to have a few off days but maybe if it lasts a bit longer might be worth seeing your GP. Xx

Chams or Socials

As already said, we all have our bad days. Don’t dwell on what you feel are the lows. Looks at the positives. You got up & out of bed, got dressed, possibly left the house etc... my lows are - I wanted to be off my anti-depressants by the end of December. It won’t happen. The positives are - although not off them, I halved the dose just before March lockdown after 8 years. And despite everything, I have stayed on half on the dose. There have been times when I thought I can’t do this & considered going back to maximum dose but I haven’t. Keep checking in xx

Near Marlborough

I’m probably the most even tempered person ever, some might say emotionally stunted, I don’t really do big sways of emotion and I struggle when others do... I’m like a bull in a China shop, always end up saying something ridiculous. But ..... this situation we have found ourselves in, our best lives taken away, feeling worried or guilty or just plain fed up.... this isn’t something we know how to handle and we are all taking some knocks. It’s showing across me, my friends and family, my 13 year old also.

Recognise where you are at. Recognise and feel if it starts to get worse and reach out to a friend. Zoom isn’t the same I know. But I know if a real friend of mine was struggling I wouldn’t give a toss about rules. I’d be there.

Likely it’s temporary. Just a reaction to the situation.

Absolutely this!

Even those amongst us who are usually annoyingly happy are struggling with what seems to be endless changes to the way we usually live.

We WILL get through it though - together - and there IS a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel now. Try to focus on that my lovely.

Sending huuuuuuuge hugs! ((((( )))))

How you feeling today pal?

I would of asked you privately if possible but this way at least you may receive a message or two from some big hearted forum ladies that might be interested in some of the things you are.
