I was going to start cooking at 5.30 but it got to 5.31 so I missed my window and made cheese on toast and a cup of tea instead

I marinaded some lovely young venison backstraps last night,in red wine,brandy,a kiss of soya sauce,rosemary,thyme,walnuts,blueberries,sea salt and cracked peppercorns,seared it and roasted it,had roast sweet potatoes,some roast parsnips drizzled with honey,and mashed carrot and swede,and corn on the cob,washed down with a nice bottle of red wine
