Just got myself some steak, mushrooms and a nice bottle of red wine.

Cooking is my comfort zone and it’s been a crappy day so I’m going to have a nice eve.

I marinaded some lovely young venison backstraps last night,in red wine,brandy,a kiss of soya sauce,rosemary,thyme,walnuts,blueberries,sea salt and cracked peppercorns,seared it and roasted it,had roast sweet potatoes,some roast parsnips drizzled with honey,and mashed carrot and swede,and corn on the cob,washed down with a nice bottle of red wine
