Has everyone got their turkeys this year for Christmas? Or are you all going to do something different and have pie with chips

Usually go for something different from the turkey route anyway so thought maybe this year I'd go for a Korma with all the trimmings!

If it wasn't for my children then both myself and my boyfriend would be hiking up a mountain on crimbo day. We absolutely love the great outdoors. I do hope you have good weather conditions for it... fingers crossed for you

I'm working very long shifts over Christmas starting next Friday right through to after New Year.

I'm still cooking my own dinner at work on Christmas day to include all the trimings...

Good idea. I may do something similar. At least I'm unlikely t be disturbed by some marauding family on Christmas Day.

It’s just me and my teenrager this year.

The turkey can have a reprieve. We have cheese fondue and all the dipping vegs and breads for lunch. Dinner will be party nibbles with a wheel of pigs in blankets.

Oh Gloria!

Forerib of beef - marinated for 2 days in Stilton. The Stilton is removed before cooking, then used to make a sauce with wild mushrooms. Bloody awesome every time.

I’m doing beef wellington this year with a pate duxelle instead of a mushroom one. Yorkshire Puds, pigs in blankets, devils on horseback, glazed carrots and sprouts with bacon and chestnut butter. All washed down with a bottle of Chateau Neuf Du Pape. Then it’s cheese and port

I'm going to a friend's and we're having rib of beef with Yorkshire puddings, roast tatties etc. We did think about doing a 70s style meal, Coq au vin, Black Forest gateaux, but my friend wanted something a bit special... The prawn cocktail is still.in there though...!!!

i will be at work but if i was at home , i know will look strange or even not nice food but is very traditional in my country boiled cod , boiled potatos , boiled cabbage , boiled carrots, boiled eggs , we add once all is cooked and in the plate olive oil extra virgin , vinegar salt and black pepper . I know it sounds not very delicious compare to Turkey but i really like it
