Dear friends Fabbers and Forumites.

Happy Saturday , golly 12th Dec and Santa is busy giving his sleigh a polish in readyness to whiz around the world in one special evening.

I know these days of shorter sunshine can weigh on peoples minds. Mixed with the year we have had it can be hard to see positives . It is ok to be like that ,ok not to be ok . By recognising it you are taking a bold step forward.

Im sat by a decorated tree ,the fire is blazing . I still need to get my boots on though and go for a little wander. Time to Just check in with myself and my feelings .

So i know it may be difficult but please think deep ans loking inside you and only if you feel you can .

Say something splendidly positive about yourself .

Take time to notice what other people have posted ans maybe you feel the same way too

Watched Children’s ward last night and was in floods of tears. Today I feel better now that’s out of my system, so I’m glad I’m that empathetic also that I am aware of my own mental health and knew I needed to cry and get rid of some pent up feelings.

Also happy to know that those people who look after us and our loved ones, are so dedicated and brave it’s made me feel happier about the world we live in.

I can't offer money (I dont have it) to charities but I do offer my time. I got up this morning after a 14 hour shift and spent the day repairing problems in a building used for disadvantaged kids. I have many faults but selflessness isn't one of them, its probably my greatest feature.
