"Hi, I'd say you want at least 16 GB for video editing. Luckily this is becoming relatively standard! As for CPU and GPU power, this will be rather more directly proportional to how long it takes to render the final video, in my experience. I.e. RAM is needed to actually be able to do the editing, but CPU/GPU (depending on settings when rendering) will determine how long it takes to get the final product out once editing is done. I am by no means an expert, but these are my video editing experiences uning Adobe Premiere. As for PC or Mac, I use a PC, but I have heard that this is the sort of thing that Macs actually do well. I am not a Mac fan personally, so I haven't tried" Historically Macs were better at creative stuff than PCs but when the 3D graphics card came out it levelled the playing field. A Mac, hardware wise, is no different to a PC nowadays and they are both capable of doing the same creative stuff.

"Thanks mate, that is helpful. Is there a minimum spec, as in 8GB of RAM that you mentioned for a CPU and GPU? " Minimum CPU - Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Minimum GPU - Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060
