I’m not getting it till next month. I refuse to play 99.9% of games on release because bugs/glitches annoy me too much. X

Yeah I would tbh, I've seen the comparisons and old gen doesn't look good not when high ends PCs are having so many issues. Will say I've not had many yet though(PC) x

Absolutely amazing not got a single fault with the game 21 hours play time so far

On a Xbox series x at 4K 120hz and then upscaleing to 8K same way a 3090 dose apart from it’s not a gpu doing the upscale it’s my 8K tv

I'm gonna have to call no on that series x doesn't do it, it's just capable and the TV may upscale but it's false upscaling. I don't doubt that it looks better on my current semi potato pc though.

The 3090 is the first true 8k gpu and will do it (7680x4320) so if that's your native monitor and your system can handle it it will be true 8k

It’s not true 8K it’s dlss upscaleing go look for ur self things like this is why we should be alowed to post links as one check with google and you find out you way wrongand what’s even funny is that it’s not even nvidia tech lol I been sitting on the exact same tech for a year

nvidia Use Samsung chips and they useing Samsung 8K upscaleing AI mogul and that’s a fact witch is the exact same 8K upscaleing AI mogul that I have in my tv

And if you don’t believe me why has nvidia come out and sed they can’t get any more 30x cards out because they waiting on Samsung chips and that’s a fact

It's down as an RPG game which I don't like, don't want to pay full whack for it and not like it. Is it any good for gameplay other than RPG?

I got it other day but it’s a Christmas present so not played it but based on forums and ps groups am in its very buggy and lots issues.

Hopefully the new patches help.

From what seen am so disappointed waited years for this game and even pushed dates back and yet still not good.

Now I love assassins creed games I know they used do annually and could be a bit buggy but people would be in uproar but cos not Ubisoft people making excuses.

Am nervous to play at moment due to issues people know have said and reported

Well the reason the game is buggy is because it was forced to basically pre release as a result of community pressure and death threats to the developers.

Some people don't understand how much work goes in a proper AAA game. It's not your COD, FIFA or AC where they pretty much recycle the same stuff every year.

I know the community of gamers more uoset how constantly pushed back saying a little longer time fix they they made hype that was 3 yrs ago and then this year they went further with hype and more.

But not heard anyone send death threats I know read shareholders wanted game out now cos profits for Christmas sales.

Just Google cyberpunk death threats, almost every game articles covers it.

If they want you to wait, be respectful about it as they want YOU to have the best possible experience. Covid certainly didn't make it easier for them either. Some game developers have 100h work weeks.

I know games have crazy hours a friend helps design Sony games and puts in 120hrs a week sometimes madness and yeah covid happens to make harder.

I don’t stand by the idiots just know real games waited long time and been so disappointed so far it’s like no man sky again eventually it will be good but not yet

It going anywhere near it till I get a PS5. So it’s going to be quite a while.

In the meantime I never got round to the Witcher 3 which I had gathering dust. So giving that a go. Give me Red Dead Anyday to be honest.

Reviews I’ve seen say it’s a bit buggy, crashes a few times, but still a fun game. The better versions of the game are going to be on next gen. this is what happens when a game is released on next gen and current gen. The current gen version is always going to be the inferior version compared to the version that will eventually come out on next gen.

I've been looking forward to it coming out but now it's out I realise I'm gonna have to drop about £200 on a GPU if I want to even play it on medium settings... so am now wondering if I'll bother. I didn't realise (a) how out of date my existing GPU is and (b) ow expensive good ones are nowadays.

Its a bit meh, ive hit way to many bugs to the point i restarted the game as i couldnt get any further due to a bug off my last game save. Will be gathering dust till a good update comes out.

I totally agree with this. Hopefully by the time all the bugs have been fixed it will be on offer too. It seems usual nowadays to rush out games with bugs galore, and then use the early adopters to basically beta test it for them. They should really launch it with a discount!

. It just detracts from the enjoyment for me.

Gotta say, its took me 3 days to just get to the intro.

Game is fully immersive and lots to do.

Plus no spoilers but the story is looking good so far

Dont want to have to play on low settings on my Vega 56/5820k at 1440p to get over 40 fps so leaving it for now until I upgrade. seems like a good choice seeing the shit storm of bugs.

Atleast I'm not one of the poor souls trying to play it at 15fps on an xbox/ps4. Should never of even been released on those

GPU prices are now insane tbh. Mainly Nvideas fault and lack of competition from AMD. Top tier GPUs 5 years ago where around £600 (980ti/Fury X)

You are not running at 120hz/120fps though. Series X runs at 60 fps at 4k. hz and fps are not the same thing.

Your x box is not comparable to £1200 GPU, that in reality isnt even a gaming GPU

Got a fair few hours into it now, finished most of the side storylines so just the main storyline left.

Really enjoyed the game, coming from a person who usually hates single player games.

Wish there was more mission content, shame they felt the need to reduce the size of the game after people complained Witcher was too long...
