So you've the invite to an event, spent ages sorting out what to wear, how to do your hair/makeup and even got yourself some company for the evening. Spent best part of the week getting all excited then come the 'big day' you just cant be arsed with all the faff and effort..

Does anyone else get like this?

I always love the last minute arrangements, by far always the best nights out...

always seems when planned, something always goes wrong and spoils it...

had a meet planned with a lady once who i knew for years and we would get together about 3 times a year as we lived miles apart.

we planned weeks ahead. keeping in touch via mail and text, with the conversations getting saucier and saucier about what we would do to each other after not seeing each other for weeks. (We had fantastic sex together usually)

the day came we met at a hotel had dinner and a couple of drinks and then when we got to the room, we were both tired and it just didnt happen..

we sat in bed eating ice cream from room service and watched 'the holiday' film on the hotels film channel and laughed ourselves to sleep.

we did make up for it though the next time we met... but the texts before that meet were more along the lines of 'now, your not too tired now are you?'
