"Bodies is such a tune! That whole album. "

Punk was never my thing and I've only discovered that album fairly recently... To me it still sounds fresh.

I fantasize about bring an airline pilot and flying to Ibiza or similar....I'd have this album playing over the PA to get the kids up for it. They'd leave that plane buzzing

Sorry I've gone all random

Also love Silly Thing by Sex Pistols, although JR had left by then and I think it’s probably more heavy rock than punk, but still, always gets turned up when it’s on.

Exactly that - as I said on the last thread how do you define "punk"? Is it the music? The clothing? The attitude?

Part of the original ethos of punk was to be different and not conform and not particularly have a definition.

If we're defining who is/isn't punk it goes against that ethos and arguably you could say probably one of the greatest punk bands of all time, The Clash, weren't punk - a large chunk of their repertoire is more reggae if you're using music as the definition.

Personally I'd say they were more post-punk/New Wave if I had to classify them but two blinding tunes...add Blaze Of Glory to that and you've got an awesome triple play
