How do you do a perfect boiled egg every time nice and dippy.

cook for 3 mins once the water reaches boiling point! works for me...

No its just that I cooked two together one came out perfect and the other under cooked go figure x

Apparently the type of eggs make a diff to the cooking time and also if kept in fridge.

Do you have soldiers or sailors?

easy.... 3 minutes from boiling, if its not quite done put it back in for a further 30 seconds....

3 mins once water boils but the key is never keep eggs in fridge, you should always start cooking them from room temp.
