Alarm

My housemates alarm has been beeping for the past 20 mins on and off...FUCKING SWITCH IT OFF YOU FUCKNUGGET!!!! It's fucking annoying every morning the same...just set an alarm 20 mins later and get up when it actually goes off instead of letting it go off a dozen times before you grab your ass up!

Do you you spring into action when your alarm goes off? Or are you hovering over the snooze button to stay in your human burrito state for an extra 10?

One Alarm?

Or 5 just to be sure?

Lu

Thank the gods I only need to set the alarm very occasionally nowadays. When it was a regular thing I set it once and got up soon after it went off unless I used my phone when it repeated anyway.

I'm such an awesome bean I wake up naturally without an alarm, fresh faced and glowing and ready for the day ahead.

I don't do snooze. I don't see the point. Why wake up artificially and try to go back to sleep just to be woken up again? It makes more sense to just stay asleep for that period if that's what your body wants to do.

It may take me a few minutes occasionally to summon up the willpower to get out of bed but I only need one alarm call to do it. Luke

One of the dogs doesn't like the milkman and barks, so no need for alarm on those days

I am not a morning person either...

I set 2 alarms, half hour apart...one to wake me up, one to get me up

I usually wake up before the time my alarm is set for. Even on weekends.

I need a machine that connects two frying pans to a robotic pair of hands to get me up some mornings.

This is where the Grumpy part of my name comes in

I used to be terrible until I changed alarms to something less jarring. I still dislike mornings but little tweaks help.

When I lived in a shared house as a student, the guy in the room next to be used to go away at weekends and leave his frigging alarm going off. Grrr.

I suggest one night you stay somewhere else and set an alarm for every hours from 3am...

I usually wake up before the alarm goes off, me and my clock knows each other so well....

I used to do 4am shifts at Gatwick. Set alarm at 2:30am cos shower, uniform, lovely hair and makeup, heels, etc..

But I would actually set it at 2:00am, and “snooze” 3 times before actually getting up. My family eventually got used to it.

Now it’s 7:25 to get up at 7:45 for the school run!
