I am not asking what your job role is (unless you want to tell us)

But, with the persona you have on fab, do you think everyone would be shocked at what you do to earn pennies?

My job title is as boring as can be

Im a commercial insurance broker.

We have a scheme with a leading insurer to insure farms and estates.

Most of our clients are Lords, Earls, Dukes, Viscounts etc.

It's a specialist scheme that covers the mansion houses, fine art + antiques, farm land, liabilities, livestock etc.

It's basically for the rich people.

Our only competitor is the NFU and a Lloyds of London underwriter who has access to the scheme.

Some personal info revealed about me cos I'm in a good mood

Addressing some as The Rt Hon Viscount.....

The tricky thing is getting the salutations correct

The funny thing is, when someone is a Viscount, you address them as Lord (then their surname)

I've never worked out why, and the boffins in the office dont know either

It certainly is and a crucial role in the gaming industry

My son is a game developer (scripter) and the quality analysts they employ get paid well for what they do, it's a bit more complex than just testing the games but that is essentially what they do.

I'm medically retired now, but used to work in debt collection. We helped big business and chased big businesses for money. I soon discovered that absolutely anyone can try and dodge paying, even celebrities!!! The day I was due to ring one to say "please pay what you owe", it got sorted, so I didn't have to.

A clue to my former role is in my username, and I think I have a picture in private that shows it. Now my work is far more mainstream and I'm a self employed contractor for a massive company. Surprisingly a company that banished me when I worked directly for them for calling them all inept, but was happy to pay me twice the rate to sort out their problems when I was proven right. Its a funny world.
