"Have you ever used a Betty Crocker cake mix before? If not that's a good starting point. Cake is life isn't it OP? " Isn't this cheating?

"Have you ever used a Betty Crocker cake mix before? If not that's a good starting point. Cake is life isn't it OP? Isn't this cheating? " Kind of to be honest. Maybe not a cake mix... what cake do you like OP?

"Have you ever used a Betty Crocker cake mix before? If not that's a good starting point. Cake is life isn't it OP? Isn't this cheating? Kind of to be honest. Maybe not a cake mix... what cake do you like OP? " I'm quite partial to book cake.

"So now that Bake Off is finished and there's nothing good on TV, I thought I'd take the plunge and try some baking myself. Now I know many of you consider me to be quite the renaissance man but I haven't baked a thing in my entire life. So, with that in mind, what do you think is the easiest cake to bake to start with? I'm looking for something that's not going to leave me in floods of tears with only a spoonful of sugar to show for it. You never know, my manual dexterity could improve so much over the festive period that I could become quite the master baker." For first time buy a Jane Asher Lemon Drizzle cake mix in a box. You just empty into a bowl, add vegetable oil and eggs and put in a tin and bake and then mix the icing and put on top of the cooked, cooled cake. As good as home made from scratch in my opinion and I have made and decorated cakes to order for weddings and birthdays in the past. If it then enthuses you to try from scratch have a look at the BBC website for ideas.
