Has anyone been tempted to ' Test ' any yet?

I had an incident with a packet of mince pies and a pot of cream last weekend

I'm not allowed to buy anymore!

What is your favourite Christmas food?

I had a series of unfortunate incidents with a Christmas hamper that my parents sent me

My favourite Christmas foods are pigs in blankets and Christmas pudding...I'd be more than happy with just those for Christmas dinner if I'm honest

Yes I feel we have to research these things - what if we don't like them?

There's a cheeseboard with different chutneys in M+S that needs researching at the weekend

I might try wrapping the chocolates in Christmas paper - tearing the paper open before Christmas would feel so wrong

I'm gonna say twiglets and nuts.

Since I started working in hospitality 12 years ago almost, Xmas became redundant at home as I worked all through it. As crap as it sounds that's all I can think of food wise coz there was no point getting anything other than normal shopping in.

My "Xmas shop" has really been just a normal shop for over a decade. I ignore the Xmas food adverts for years. I knew I'd not have the opportunity to party or get together with family for a special meal or anything so I have switched off to it all.

I really would like some special shopping some time. Again, this year even if I ain't back at work that week I'm on furlough money so can't afford it anyway

I decided I was too fat last year, I joined fat fighters, ate dust and lost 3 and a half stone. Over Christmas I was still in the zone and stayed at pretty much the same weight.

This year I figured “fuck it” and have so far consumed...

3 boxes of mince pies (proper ones with icing on)

2 tubs of roses

2 tubs of quality street

4 chocolate oranges

2 boxes of mint match makers

2 boxes of regular match makers

1 box of Maltesers

2 bottles of Baileys

And a snowball

I’ll be getting cut out of the house in January

Thing is, if they LIE about how it serves four (4?? haha nope) on the packaging then they’re probably lying about the calories too right?
