Kissing would always get a yes from me, but I totally respect the preferences of those that prefer not to and would either take it as a sign of incompatibility between us, or accept that it was their preference depending on the circumstances and dynamic - for example being bisexual a lot of guys don't like kissing other guys and I can accept that.

I think that entirely depends on how you think of intimacy. I think holding hands is way more intimate than sex acts. I'd never hold hands with a casual partner. It could be an illusion but it feels pretty real to me. Turning that round I think any intimacy during casual encounters is illusory by their very nature.

I think we all have different levels at which we're comfortable and to an extent that depends on what we're looking to get from swinging. While we like to be friends with the people we meet we'll never be able to offer a relationship based on deeper intimacy. Hand holding means so much more to me. It can be a held hand walking down the street. There's a reason why we all go awww when the 80 year old couple walk down the street together. But it can mean so much, such as I'm here for you in a totally non sexual way. I only hold hands with my partner or family members. It's a family thing to me it's about who is in my tribe so to me that's more sacred.
