I had a great idea today....

and I just need some investors

make car windscreens of perscription glass..... then if someone nicks my car, unless they have the same bad eyesight as me they wont get very far...

and I can wear my really posh sunnies ( non perscription ) without the pain of contacts...

see told you it was a good idea..

do you have any ideas we can put to the fab den for consideration for investment..????

I actually was wondering if there is a charity that takes in old prescription glasses..

Or if there was an online market/database that you can trade used frames (with or without lenses) across the uk etc.

There are firms that take in old glasses, google it.

i know specsavers will take in your old glasses and they then send them out to poorer countries to be recycled by people that need them not sure about anywhere else though xxx

Now how scary will it be if window screens were prescription glass....,

You see a car coming towards you and all you can see is a HUGE pair of eyes looking through the window at you

What if you need bifocals? will the windowsceen have that little line half way through it like the glasses do?

Don't give your old spectacles away, save them.

Apparently, after a certain age ( yet to be determined lol ) your eyes start to change back again.

So, in time you may find an older pair, or lenses, will do the job better than your current ones.

On occasions, a little bit of soldering across the nose will produce a fine pair.
