Are they not the same? Kinda seems like 'rule breakers' are the type who'd want to speak to the manager about a global pandemic being a bit inconvenient for them...

Yes, I always thought a Karen was someone with an over inflated sense of entitlement and self importance rather than someone who keeps to the rules. Possibly someone who bosses others when they break the rules?

Personally I prefer understanding the reasoning for a rule so that I can go with the spirit of the law, not the letter. I'm not the sort to push the limits of what I'm "allowed" to do with Covid lockdowns for example preferring to use the "what is necessary" approach to the "what can I get away with". Equally, when the Welsh government decided it was safe to travel to play golf or go to a garden centre I wasn't too worried about traveling somewhere for an isolated run which was technically breaking the rules

Too many people are interested in what's allowed rather than what's right.

The rules have so far been completely inadequate, so I've just been doing what's right.

At a time like this I'll skip out on the fun, so more of us are safe and well to have fun when the crisis is over

Wearing clothes that are generally only worn by women, wearing makeup and wigs so presenting as a woman. So the rules of convention I break on a regular basis on here and in public.
