Sharks aren't evil, its us humans who go into the waters they live in splashing about causing them to investigate.

According to an Australian senate report I just scanned, Australia has reported approximately 55 deaths from shark attacks in the last 50 years (47 unprovoked).

According to Google (lazy), 1194 people died in Australia in road traffic related incidents in 2019.

If a human dressed up as dog food and lay in the dogs food bowl, I don't the dog would be put down.

The person would be told it was his own bloody fault.

Surfers enter the sharks hunting grounds and look like their food. What do you expect them to do?

Oh and 'a taste of human blood'? After a shark bites a human they usually let them go, as they don't actually want to eat them, they are after the nice juicy sealion.

Nope. Sharks hunt sealions in shallow waters.

If we fancy disguising ourselves as sealions and splash about in their waters, it's our own fault if we get bit.

"There's a lot of sheer peril that Australians have to face in order to get to the beach, Tom. Way worse than sharks. Spiders, snakes, bunyips, drop bears, drongos, and wombats for starters.

It's a miracle anyone survives there tbh. No wonder they come invading Manc

"According to an Australian senate report I just scanned, Australia has reported approximately 55 deaths from shark attacks in the last 50 years (47 unprovoked).

According to Google (lazy), 1194 people died in Australia in road traffic related incidents in 2019.

Love sharks. Ban cars.

1 attack a year? I’ll take my chances and get on that board! Sharks are beautiful creatures, not evil at all. They live in the sea which we invade "

Have you seen that video about the lady who removes hooks from sharks?

After doing it, they lay their head on her lap and let her pet them like a big dog.

Now she's been doing it for a while, she's actually getting new sharks with hooks swimming up to her to get them removed. It's like they have communicated apart themselves and been told each other she can help.

Lovely creatures.

As an Aussie, I would have been more concerned with brown snakes, red backs, and hitting a roo on the road while on my beach then I would be with sharks.

I think your statistically twice as likely to win the Euromillions then get killed by a shark.

"Another shark attack of a surfer in OZ today..

Stay out of the water guys "

Sharks attacking are simply due to the fact we are in their environment, yet as humans we think we own everything. Basically a shark bites to see if whatever it is biting at can be eaten. Unfortunately when you have a bite that consists of a few 1000lbs of pressure and razor sharp teeth a bite tends to cut people in half. Sharks actually prefer eating animals with a higher fat content as it sustains them for longer. Humans just get caught in the crossfire and are easy targets, as sharks investigate panic. Which due to the film jaws is what people do when they see a shark.

When a crocodile eats a human they hunt the evil bugger. Two reasons. To retrieve human remains. And because a croc who learns to hunt humans are dangerous.

As someone who witnessed a fatal shark attack just a few yards from my son, I find nothing tounge in cheek abouy any of these posts - shark attacks are fucking horrific and leave physical and mental scars beyond belief.

I will also insist sharks aren't evil, and I'd feel the same way if my son had been taken that day. Sharks are top of the food chain in the ocean, not humans.

When you have seen crocodiles bite the hands of the guy that’s feeding them then you can understand what you are on about. And crocodiles are opportunist hunters, so they will snatch any unsuspecting prey from a riverbank (usually bathers).

Sharks on the other hand, I have seen people feeding bull sharks in waist deep water sardines and tuna out of their hands. The sharks could easily eat the person feeding them and are one of the most aggressive types of shark? But don’t. Hardly evil. Like I said their senses make them go for a panicking animal and they can detect a heart beat in water. The guy that feeds them meditates and stays calm and they leave him alone. As they are always on the lookout for splashing at the surface of water, which is why seabirds are taken a lot.

Sharks naturally pursue surfboards, because the action of paddling for a wave, mimics seals. It usually occurs early evening, but you know them sharks, they eat when they want.

Unsure what this public shark announcement is about, but the uk public are probably safe, this time of year, unless the sharks got a wetsuit on, he bought in the covid sales.

It is not me saying that there were 64 unprovoked attacks this year.. it is the World Shark Bite Index that investigates all known shark attacks.. they are placed in categories including unprovoked, provoked, false claims etc.

Unprovoked is pretty much when your minding your own business..

Provoked can be when your trying to interact or touch them..

Add them all and there are many more cases than 64....

No wonder there are shark nets off the South Africa beach

Not evil! It's just doing what a shark does... It's a prehistoric creature designed to attack and kill in order to servive.

There's a theory that a surf board viewed from below can (to a shark) appear to be the silhouette of a deal so all the shark is doing is hunting for food, it's not a crazed serial killer; that what humans do.

This shark isn't coming onto the land (the domain of Land creatures such as us) it's staying in the sea and we (Land creatures) are going into it's domain.

If you stick your hand in a fire, expect to get burnt. If you swim in a sea full of sharks...
