Bratwurst wrapped in bacon hotdog for brunch, kebab for dinner (not the shit one, the full mixed job that comes in a huge box)

Meet up with my siblings and go full traditional.

Starts:

Mandarin and grapefruit

Main:

Turkey with Rosemary (and lots of butter)

Mustard and Clove Ham,

Sage & onion stuffing,

Honey baked sprouts,

Carrot & parsnip mash,

Cinnamon Red cabbage,

Roasties.

Dessert:

Varies but this year will be first year in ten there won't be trifle.

Going with fruit cocktail flan,

Warmed winter berries, vanilla pod ice-cream and meringue.

Have a Christmas pudding g from last year, but probably won't be used til next year

Lots of drinks and board games to follow then.

It's what's planned but no doubt some elements may change or get dropped, but in general, I prefer the build up Christmas to Christmas itself, but I love the prepping and cooking.

That in itself is a very pleasant time.

Obviously I won't be doing it all my self, but I insist on cooking the meats.

Nothing worse than dry turkey.
