I want it gone, it's ruining my life. What's the quickest and bestest way to get rid of it?

I used la Roche prosay (sp?) products for about 6 months several years ago and it cleared mine up for good. Only ever get a few patches now and then these days.

Have also heard there's a kids brand that is some kinda magicure little farms or summat.

Good luck

Lu

"Have you been to doctor or tried good NHS "

They'll only prescribe me steroid cream, which only works temporarely, and the it flares up again.

Go back and tell them that, ask for techniques on how to care for it.

Haywards heath/Waterlooville

Bathing in oats can help with eczema.

Sorry honey, you can't get rid of it permanently. It's with you for life. I've had it since I was 11 months old, but got some great ways of controlling it... Just drop me an inbox and I'll do what I can for you x

Do any foods trigger it? Believe dairy can be negative

Sounds a bit daft but try head and shoulders shampoo, the original formula one. Worked a treat for me a few years ago. Not had it since.

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

Trade it in for Psoriasis

Sorry OP, only having a laugh, I have had the above for about 30 years now. Was prescribed Coal Tar cream initially, but it didn't seem to have much effect.

As others have said, some treatments work, horses for courses and all that..

Hope you're keeping positive and upbeat x

No quick fix with eczema, need to use a good moisturiser regularly, every half an hour after a flare up and keep using once under control.Recommend Epiderm cream, aveeno at my Pharmacy.

Try living with psoriasis lol I'd take eczema anyday of the week lotriderm cream mixed with coconut oil will reduce it to nothing but you'll have to alternate with another steroid based cream each month good luck op

Wash your clothes in non bio without softener if possible, definitely look at if any food makes it worse , oilatum in bath and try Aveeno cream ? My daughter had horrendous eczema when she was little and we literally tried everything from the docs but Aveeno was the only thing that worked

You can have my eczema if you want it. And the fortnight stays in hospital to be bandaged and given emergency treatment on the occasions when it becomes out of control....

Reading

Dead Sea salts have helped my daughter but it depends on what type of eczema you have. Have you been referred to a dermatologist? If not keep pushing your doctor until you get it. It is a miserable condition to have and you deserve all the medical attention you can get.

"Do any foods trigger it? Believe dairy can be negative "

This was true for my sister. She has had awful eczema since really young and tried everything the doctors prescribed over the years. The first thing that helped at all was cutting out dairy. She switched to goat milk, and she uses goat milk soap etc too. The difference was unreal.

Hope you get some relief OP, it's a real bugger.

Brighton - even Hove!

My daughter used aqueous cream. Sun beds and avoiding lactose help too.

Cutting dairy out worked for me, along with being careful what soaps and shampoo I use and what washing powder I use. Ironically I have found Aloe Vera aggravates my skin even though it’s in so many toiletries meant for sensitive skin.

Yeah it's called child's farm, there's a whole range of products but the moisturiser is really good for eczema. I used to use it for my son and now I buy it for myself haha

My ex-boyfriend had terrible skin, cutting out dairy really helped to clear it up.
