We're going to put ours up much sooner this year. It's been so dull we want a bit of sparkle. Probably wait until around the 12th though

There seems to be lots around our village that have put theirs up early, probably to brighten up everything.

We are putting ours up tomorrow hopefully.

Our village is doing a winter wonderland walk to see all the outdoor decorations that people have put up. It's suggested that people have a socially distanced mincepie and mulled wine

I hate decorating the tree but I'm fussy how it looks ... small decs at the top, larger ones at the bottom ... hubby must hate it lol

What a good idea. I'm going to walk round and look at all the lights round here in a week or so. Some people have really gone to town. It's lovely to see

I like a nice tree and have a few decorations but putting them up and taking them down is a pain in the arse.

That's such a lovely idea! Our lighting the lights event has obviously been cancelled but will be done with facebook live this year, so at least we have that. And there are a few houses who always do outdoor decs so might have to have a wander around one night....

I'll have the tree up tomorrow night ready for taking pics for the advent challenge on Saturday!
