God it's quiet on here just now!

So when all else fails... talk about the weather

What's it like where you are? It's looking lovely and white here with enough crunchy snow to cover the ground, but treacherous as it's already melting into thick ice fast.

Yeah I finally buckled and closed the windows/turned the heating on for half an hour this morning. It has to be really cold if I'm feeling it, I'm always roasting.

Have the burner at night but the heating did kick in this morning, can't sleep without a window of open..

Cold and wet here, it must have been a very mild Autumn as the trees all still have their leaves - normally they are bare by the end of October.

I love the snow. I wish for a foot or two every year but it never gets here.

Me too, I'd especially love it this year. I am fully embracing the Xmas spirit just now, a white Christmas would be perfect

Me too Christmas always cheers me up. Snow would just make it perfect. We have rain atm. Thinking of going lapland next year

Snow?? Omg! It's just rain and rain and a little more rain here at the moment. So grey outside, it's horrible. But.... Hot cinnamon chocolate and gingerbread men are on offer here today, next to the aga, it's a little bit of cheer, snuggled with the dogs and the cats and my house-pig and almost better goat! Lots of fur snugs to make the day better xx

I thought it might snow here yesterday, but nope just a grey day. Its raining now and I need to go and cut logs as woodburners our only heating source ! I may just be lazy and get out a blanket !
