I think there's a maternal/parent element to it. The way I interact with my kids and there friends or lovers etc is different as it comes from a parent perspective most of the time.

You can have or not have age preferences as you like.

Personally I prefer people at least a bit older than me, at a push I may meet someone my age, but not younger.

I don't really have an upper limit as long as there's a connection and attraction.

My usual age range is about 29-40 ish

I think most younger males could learn a lot from spending time with an older lady, especially when it comes to behaviour, courtesy & manners.

That's' because you don't have the experience or knowledge that older people do.

Most of us remember being 19 and thinking we knew what we were doing, consenting to the choices we made, taking what we thought were calculated risks and thinking we had a handle on our preferences and inclinations.

The truth is, the last thing human brains develop is cognition and that doesn't normally happen until around 23 years of age.

The other thing that happens as we age is when we view much younger folk than ourselves, we see them as even younger than they actually are. If I saw you, my brain would 'see' you as a child.

The 29yr old would need to be a mature individual who knows what he/she wants and who he/she is as would the 50yr old
