I like strong, stocky, chunky builds on men. Low centre of gravity, muscular back, but with a bit of a podge at the front

It just shows though, having an ideal isn't necessarily what you end up going for - my OH is 5ft3, 28 waist and about 9 stone pissed wet through

Personality, attitude, outlook and compatibility shone brighter than physical attraction

When I was younger there was less variety in body shape. Very few men used the gym compared to nowadays and the really toned guys tended to be the ones with physical jobs. Everyone tended to be slimmer generally and it came down to height and general build. So for me the body type I'm attracted to has changed as I've grown older simply because there's a wider variety to choose from but also because I've grown to appreciate the more mature body

These threads always amuse me, at some point we are all going to be old wrinkly and a different shape. Unless of course you're hell bent on fitness and staying in shape or have cash and a good surgeon.

What I liked when I was young compared to now has changed. I didn't like hairy chests for example and do now.

It's more about the person for me though and always has been. Though because I'm petite I don't go for guys that are big and I'm not keen on veiny muscles types.

I think body shape matter less than age. Or have I been told do I look it

I am pretty fit for my age and have found I was fitter than a lot of guys 20 to 30 years younger. But am now finding that over 50 is a bit if a deal breaker.

Just my experience.
