Christmas shopping goes mad

Well today's the day that Christmas will be hectic once again places like the Trafford Centre near me is just going to get absolutely hammered so anyone that does go shopping be on your safeguard it's going to get messy

Finished mine over a month ago even without covid I don't venture to the Trafford Centre or City Centre, get mine from local shops or online

I will not go anywhere like the Trafford Centre until next year I can't think of anything worse!! I can only imagine how crazy it is going to be today.

I've told those that I usually by for that this year is a zero present year

Having been furloughed for more than half the year, my net income has taken a hit and I need to keep up with mortgage and bill payments

Those are more important than a handful of gifts

I'm lucky to only have one child in my family, so I'm only dealing with adults

So, save for my nieces daughter, my shopping is done

I wish someone told me Trafford Centre open at midnight last night I would definitely not be the first one there absolutely crazy the whole of Christmas some shops are going to be open 24-hours

I've told most people I'll be donating to charity in lieu of presents this year, and I've asked them to nominate which charity they'd like.

Kids are all getting cash, my mum and I are buying each other little stocking-filler type gifts (plenty of local shops and makers for that sort of stuff) and I'll get my aunty a nice flower arrangement.

I think I'm in a real minority of welcoming longer opening hours for shops. I've got cousins who work retail and have had their hours slashed this year, so at least they'll be able to pick up a bit more money when they need it. Hopefully it will mean people think about when they shop and try to shop outside the busiest hours.

Never go xmas shopping allways on line so nothing changed only shopping I like are garden centres x
