Getting replies to messages

Afternoon all. I’m sending messages to women who would seem to be a good match . I always read profiles and try to tailor my messages. I realise women are inundated but wonder how I can stand out? Any advice greatly appreciated Thanks

Sorry to hear that - best chance in my experience is to attach a face pic. Women on site get many messages a day so it is pot luck mostly but a decent face pic is better than a dick pic, mostly!

There is no magic formula OP but often when guys say they aren't getting responses it comes down to one of five things:

Profile - many people will look at your profile before even considering reading a message to see if it appeals to them - so take a look at yours and see if you think it helps you stand out, gives a flavour of who you are, what you're looking for and what you think you can offer - as you said yourself you message people you think you're a good match to, but do you show them that when they read your profile?

Pics - are your pics appealing? Do they show you off in a good way? Could you do more, or be more creative?

Attitude - do you display a positive attitude at all times, are you respectful and considerate etc?

Approach - have you got the right one, not only for the site but for you? There are many approaches other than just blindly messaging people, getting involved in the forums or chat rooms are two examples that are great ways to get to know people, and them you and of sparking conversations.

Expectations - are they set right? In terms of meeting people they should be set as low as possible and then turned down a notch - take a more laid back approach and you'll be surprised what a difference it makes.

None of the above offer any guarantees of course but get them right and they will improve your experience and perception of the site - get them wrong however and you'll just find it frustrating.

To be honest, I wouldn’t bother sending any messages on here, especially at the moment.

Just join in on the forums, get yourself known (for the right reasons ) and have fun.

Don’t worry about talking to anyone individually at first.

The more people get to know you, the more likely they are to want to chat to you privately.

Just don’t be a creep

Now *should* in essence be a time for making new connections, however it really isn't.

People are bored, bereaved, lost jobs and lost hope, or the other end of the scale working flat out to keep people alive.

I know my profile is hidden but that's coz I'm sick to death of the meet now requests and people who lack respect.

So many women are feeling like they're being viewed as free prostitutes or pieces of meat at the moment. The atmosphere has declined hugely.

You can use the cam chat rooms and ask someone there to verify you, however if I were you I'd wait until it's declared safe to meet again before even thinking about getting a veri.

I personally don't trust cam veris to be cam and not meet veris, due to the blatant disregard for the rules, the status updates and messages I've been receiving from people wanting to meet, so anyone getting new veris during lockdown is going on my avoid list. I'm sure I won't be the only person with that view.

This is my advice to the tens of the same kind of question being asked.
