Women when you make a funny joke to a man, does he tell it back to you but worded different or does he laugh and say I appreciate funny women, it shows an intelligence that I find attractive and that I’m not threatened by ?!

It’s a myth that there’s such thing as a funny woman. Women aren’t funny.

Stop giving everyone ideas

Neither. Depending on the inappropriateness of the joke he will laugh, spit his cup of tea or look at me like I just shit in his shoe.

If he does the latter we probably won't end up having sex.

i think there can be confusion sometimes when a women makes a joke.

if its at someone expense it can be very hard to tell if she is being nasty or not.

the standard reply if pointing out shes put on a lot of weight means shes learnt a very important lesson.

fuck with someone else.

I think ‘certain’ men may be threatened by funny women - just as ‘certain’ men are threatened by intelligent women.

Fortunately I think they are in the minority - as anyone who feels threatened by a positive trait someone else has is insecure in themselves I imagine.

I tend to meet men who are, like me, relatively self assured and comfortable in their own skin.

I like a woman to be more intelligent than me, I like the feeling of being out of my depth and winging it, I can’t keep it up for more than a few weeks though, one time a woman was talking about Keats and Yeats and I asked if they were similar to Cannon and Ball.

I rarely find female stand up comics funny. I'm not quite sure what it is, their performances and acts always feel forced, or their jokes just fail to miss the mark. Maybe it's just the material is often harder to relate to being from a female pov. But they never feel like they are fully able to command comedic stage presence.

However some of the funniest people I know are women.

Sharp wit, great comedic timing and delivery that would put so many "funny men" to shame. That I genuinely look forward to what they will say next. A fair few of them are on here.

I love funny women, they put me at ease straight away and allow me to be more open and less shy.

Humour is subjective though so what I find funny, others might not. And that goes for men and women
