Apparently, for COVID19 rules, they're a substantial meal.

Anyone like them?

And even more importantly, did anyone get duped by the scotch egg joke that did the rounds a few weeks back on Whasapp?

My Dad

He has two for his breakfast EVERY day

He might have dementia, but he sure as hell knows how many there are in the fridge at any given time

We get a red alert if he's running short

I like the runny ones they do in M&S ..do wonder what they put in it though to keep it soft in the middle whilst cooking. Although, perhaps it's a kind of scotch egg equivalent of baked Alaska.

You part boil the egg and then out it straight into cold/iced water.

Yeah they're phenomenal. Had one in a pub in Rugby once, it was the size of a football.

And to the poster above who mentioned savoury eggs (the crappy dry little ones) you can't hold them little runts in the same breath as the daddy scotch egg.
