Is anybody aware if there is some way that people can get a friend requset accepted without you actually agreeing? We have had more than one time when we are suddenly friends with somebody who we have not accepted. Today we had a friend requset which we refused then suddenly this afternoon there is a message saying that they have accepted out friend request not happy.

Nope.

One of you must’ve accepted the request unless someone else has access to your account.

The point is I did not accept and then it showed as they accepted our friend request which we would not have sent very concerned that people have some sort of hack they can do this

You are missing the point we definitely didn't accept but even if we had it would not then come up as they accepted your friend request

I get around 50 friend requests a day and it's never happened to me

I’ve had this happen a couple of times In the past, but not for years. There may be a little glitch in the system. Hopefully you managed to unfriend them before they viewed your private pictures.

I totally agree easy to accept by mistake but this would not then generate a message saying that they had accepted our friend request. It is not easy to make a mistake of sending a friend request is it?

I've done it a couple of times tbh.

And I guess if both of you are using the account then that doubles the chance of it happening.

I've also had x accepted your friend request and thought wait what I never sent a friend request a couple of times now.... I could swair I've never even seen these profiles before they accepted my friend request but I just assumed I'd accedently clicked something on my phone and sent it while I was distracted or whatever.... I am clumsy and unfocused so sometimes I'll be reading messages and then I'll be making a drink or whatever and when I next look at my phone I'll have clicked on someones profile or added to hotlist or something I didn't mean to do lol

Did they send a friend request that's now been accepted?

Sounds the only way this can happen

change your password just in case. I haven't heard of friend requests being sent accidentally or a glitch that makes it happen. If once you've changed your password it happens again contact admin

I've never jad it in 10 years here but assumed that any system could have a rare bug.

If you contact Admin and report the clear details, they can investigate and it should lead to them being able to understand the issue. They always investigate any reports

This has happened to me also.

Only around 3 times over 10+ years though.

I 100% know it's not clumsy fingers as I don't even look at my friends request let alone accept them.
