A couple of pints at most if I'm thirsty, then it would be cognac for me, or white wine. Then again I'm not much of a drinker, I sometimes go months without..

Really getting into XO & reserve rums, prefer them to single malt, doesn’t give a headache next day. Also IPA and craft pale ale. Mrs likes Hendricks with Veuve or Brandy and Baileys

Depends where I am and who I'm with. I think there is a time for both.

But if I can only drink one then it's spirits.

I very rarely drink

If I do, I enjoy a pint of guinness with some pub grub

On holiday, I will have a couple of vodkas plus mixer in the evening

I resent paying the pub prices here for spirits (I do recognise that much of it is tax, but still)

Pints were one of the first things to go when I joined slimming world years ago.

I'll occasionally have a couple of pints of cider, but generally its gin or southern comfort. I don't drink often in general though.

"Dark rum and red wine"

If you like a rum based drink, try Aldi's Seadog (£15)

Cube of ice and a shot of this, no mixer

A lovely after dinner drink

Beer. Never had a hang over from ale.

Not yet found a spirit that I actually like the taste of. They all seem like an effort to drink.

No. Originally I thought it was rum, but it is a rum based drink.

It's well worth trying

Google it for reviews

Spirits!

I don’t drink beer at all, I think it has a fizzy water taste to it, or a bit like andrews. But I’m sure I’m the only one that thinks that!

Worcester

If we are out and they have it on drought then it has to be a nice ale.

If they don’t have an ale, then at a push Perroni.

If all else fails, good old V & C.

(Mrs M doesn’t drink pints).

Depends on the spirit, usually lager for a few then on to the whisky
